Every order placed with Scoville & Co. is prepared with care. The following policy outlines what you may expect regarding order processing, shipping timelines, and our responsibilities in transit.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding Indian public holidays). We endeavour to dispatch orders within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation, though processing timelines may extend during high-volume periods or product launches.
You will receive an order confirmation via email at the time of purchase, and a separate dispatch notification — including a tracking reference where available — once your order has shipped.
2. Shipping Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines vary by destination. Within India, orders are typically delivered within 3–8 business days of dispatch, depending on your city and the logistics partner servicing your area.
All delivery timelines are estimates only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date. Scoville & Co. is not liable for delays that occur once an order has been handed to a logistics partner.
3. Shipping Partners & Rates
We ship across India through reputable third-party logistics providers. Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order value. Any applicable shipping fees will be displayed clearly before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to select the appropriate logistics partner for your order based on serviceability, weight, and destination.
4. Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship to addresses within India. International shipping capabilities will be communicated on the Website as they become available.
Certain pin codes or remote locations may be unserviceable by our current logistics partners. If your delivery address falls into this category, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or the option to provide an alternative address.
5. Customer Responsibility — Address Accuracy
It is the Customer's sole responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and serviceable delivery address at the time of purchase. Scoville & Co. shall not be liable for failed deliveries, returns, or losses arising from incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible addresses provided by the Customer.
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may, at our discretion, offer to re-ship at the Customer's cost or issue a partial refund of the product value, net of shipping and handling charges.
6. Failed Delivery Attempts
Our logistics partners will typically attempt delivery on at least one occasion. If delivery is unsuccessful due to the Customer being unavailable or the address being inaccessible, the shipment may be held at a local hub for a limited period before being returned. Please monitor your tracking information and coordinate with the courier as necessary.
7. Delays & Force Majeure
Scoville & Co. shall not be held responsible for delays in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, civil unrest, labour strikes, government directives, public health measures, acts of God, or disruptions to logistics infrastructure.
In such circumstances, we will endeavour to keep you informed and to support resolution where possible.
8. Order Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any order that we believe, in our reasonable discretion, to be fraudulent, placed in error, associated with an unserviceable location, or in violation of these Terms. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Customers may request cancellation of an order only before it has been dispatched. Once an order has entered the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled.
9. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title to the products passes to the Customer upon delivery of the products to the Customer or Customer's designated recipient at the delivery address provided.
